(June 5, 2011) - historical recreation of AD 1397 archery
contest between the quintiere of Cortona in celebration of the
wedding of Francesco Casali & Antonia Salembeni in that year. The
recreation of the wedding will be at 21:15 on June 4 in Piazza
Signorelli and the Giostra (the Sunday after Ascension) is at 16:00 on
June 5 in Piazzi Signorelli. An additional event during this
period: On June 1 at 21:15 in Pza. Signorelli
an exhibition of Flagthrowers from Cortona & surrounding communities.
