Osteria del Teatro, which moved into its new home at Via Maffei, 2 in April 2002 (across the street from its previous location at via Maffei, no. 5), is a family-owned and operated restaurant which has excellent food, an intimate atmosphere with opera or symphonic background music, and the incomparable team of Emiliano, Mauro, Giuliana, and Ylenia.

Reservations generally necessary for dinner; also for lunch during high season and holidays.  Closed  Wednesdays and mid.-Nov. to mid-Dec.  Menus are available in both Italiano and English. Tell them David sent you.

The menu is based on authentic Tuscan dishes adapted by Emiliano (who has completed his sommelier work) and delivered with excellent presentation to your table .  An extensive wine list enables you to select the perfect vino(i) to accompany your menu selections.

Check for specials and for any seasonal items (e.g. Porcini or Cinghiale dishes) which may be available that day.
